In some cases we will get calls from lenders or lienholders verifying that coverage has been purchased. We are here to help them help you, but there are a few things that you and them need to know. Insurance policies do include sensitive personal data such as social security numbers, driver’s license information, and contact information, so we do try to protect you. Because of that we have the following procedures.

  1. To protect you we will confirm that the company that is calling is on the policy. If not, we aren’t going to be able to help them, so be sure that your lender is listed on the policy. If you purchased a policy without this information it is easy to add, but we will need you to request that we add a lienholder.
  2. If the lender has required that you sign a document authorizing them to make changes to the policy, we will accept this, but we ask that they send it to us to ensure that you have authorized their access to the policy.-

Assuming we can confirm that you have authorized them to access your policy we have no problem sending them declaration pages and other policy -information to them, but are here to protect you as well.

If you have any questions about this, contact us at 1-877-784-6787.
